How It Works

In the aquaponics system, our walleye live in their own fish tanks. As they feed, the waste fish produce is sent through a filtration system. Our filters separate the solids and then leave effluent water to be sent through the nitrification process. Nitrifying bacteria turns the  ammonia from the waste into nitrites, then turns the nitrites into nitrates, along with other beneficial nutrients our plants can consume. The nutrient rich water flows to our towers automatically, supplying the plants with the accurate amount of water and nutrients they need. The nutrients provided are completely natural and there is no runoff water. The natural nutrients mixed with aeroponic technology lead to increased yields, shelf life, flavor, appearance, and aroma of our crops.
