Use our wobbly walleye basil to make your very own pesto sauce! Tastes great on pasta, pizza, mix in with eggs, or dip with your favorite veggies. The ingredients are simple:
2 Packages Wobbly Walleye Pesto Basil
2 Tablespoons Cashews
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves
Optional Salt/Pepper
Optional sorrel, cilantro, or chives
To turn these ingredients into a tasty pesto sauce follow these steps:
Combine Wobbly Walleye Pesto Basil with cashews* in a food processor or blender and process until finely minced.
With the food processor or blender running on low, slowly add in oil and process until it becomes smooth.
With the food processor blender still running on low, add in the parmesan cheese until combined.
The pesto sauce can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
To add a little more spice, we recommend adding sorrel, cilantro, or chives between step 2 and 3.
